Bert founded SPF in 1995 and today finds himself with the good fortune of having the best team in the insurance premium financing market. Bert has over 30 years of experience in C-level executive management, real estate development, financial and operational restructuring both in direct management positions and as a consultant in the United States, Europe and Asia. Bert's entrepreneurial experience and extensive financial restructuring skills provide him with a unique set of skills to lead SPF in the sometimes-turbulent Florida Insurance Market.
Sue started her career in insurance in 1978 at Union American. In 1999, she joined SPF as its General Manager. Sue has successfully lead Security Premium Finance to provide excellent service to both insured and producers for over 15 years. With over 25 years experience in the industry, Sue has obtained skills to manage our business successfully while providing our agents and the insured with the best service in the industry.
Sussette has been working in the premium financing industry for over 25 years. She joined the SPF team in 2004. Her experience and knowledge help to keep daily operations performing smoothly. Her responsibilities include writing agent checks, creating new agent profiles, general office work, and all encompassing duties of contract maintenance. Sussette provides the best customer service around.
Carlos joined SPF in 2001 as a marketing representative. He has been a key driver to the growth of SPF in the local market. The personal service Carlos provides to his agencies is unmatched by any of his competitors. Carlos's agencies know that they can count on him to assist in protecting their current business and help grow their future.
Jose has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Joining the SPF Marketing Representative Team in 2007, Jose’s perseverance has helped him develop sound and lasting relationships with his agencies. He continues to pursue customer service excellence, while partnering with the independent agent to support all of their insured financing needs. Jose always strives to be his best in order to meet and surpass his customer’s need.
With over 25 years of experience in the financing industry, Yolaine joined Security Premium Finance as a Marketing Representative in 2012. Throughout her time at SPF, she has created the reputation of building strong and enduring professional relationships with her agents. This perseverance has yielded an extensive network of producing agencies, while creating a portfolio that continues to exceed her performance goals. Her motto “go the extra mile” has propelled her to customer service excellence.
Ivonne has over 25 years experience and has spent the last 16 years as a part of our team. Her qualified timeline has prepared her to meet the challenges of a customer service role in a professional office environment. Her goal at SPF is to maintain exceptional communication skills to our agents and customers. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and inputting down payment, entering in data information, answering and directing phone calls with customers while aiding them with each of their individual needs.
Stephanie has worked in the finance industry for 29 years and has been with Security Premium Finance for 4 years. Her daily routine consists of checking contracts to ensure everything is in order, making the proper corrections to bad contracts, taking payments, and working on reinstatements. She is cross trained and offers her services to assist with any duty within the office. Her favorite part of the job has always been the customer service side. She enjoys speaking with, and more importantly, helping our customers and agents.
Denisse started working at SPF in 2014. Her responsibilities include reviewing all drafts posted to our system, preparing all accounting and banking reports and reviewing commission checks. Denisse works alongside management, while providing excellent personal service to her customers.
Having worked in the insurance industry for 10 years, Beatriz has spent the better part of 6 years as a part of the SPF team. Her daily tasks include receiving and preparing all mailed checks, entering them in the system for deposit, taking payments by phone, and reinstate policies. Her main goal is to always help SPF's customers with any questions or concerns they may have.
Esther joined SPF 2017. She is currently managing our cancellation department. She is responsible for contacting our agents and clients regarding the cancellation of policies. She also handles the late notices. Esther verifies that all carries receive the notices via e-mail, fax or by mail. She has great customer service skills which make her a valuable member to our team.
Lourdes started in the insurance industry in 1982. With over 35 years of experience, she has worked in several departments such as underwriting, endorsements and cancellations. In 1988, Lourdes started working at Duarte Insurance agency, where she managed the agency for many years, later becoming the owner. Her experience in providing excellent customer service is of great value to Security Premium. Here at Security Premium, she manages policy confirmations, reviews agents’ unearned commission statements, and works with carries for cancelled return premiums.
David is a new addition to our team. David started working at Security Premium on February 6, 2017. His responsibilities include filing and handling correspondence. He also makes calls to our clients regarding cancellation to prevent policies from canceling. David provides outstanding customer service when handling these calls. He does an exceptional job in keeping the filing room very organized at all times and makes sure all documents are accessible.
